• What attracts us most in writing here is the opportunity to earn revenue. Yes we can earn revenue here and that is a good reason why we strive to be a part of it. But this endeavor can also be a cause of frustration and discouragement if we have unrealistic expectations. What does that mean?
• The first time we signed up, we thought money will fall like rain in 24 hours. We thought we just write few hubs and expect the next day that there will be money in our earning account. We didn’t realize that we need to EARN that money. What does it mean to earn? It means to be compensated by the work and effort we put in it. It is neither a reward nor a gift that comes easily.

So one reason of getting discourage in writing here in hubpages is because things didn’t work out the way we expected. We expected more than what we deserved.

We are not patient enough to accept that our hubs need to be revised. When we submit our hubs, it says. “it needs revision.” Instead of editing it and repairing, we get frustrated. We don’t want to solve problems and challenges that come along.

What can help us with this problem of being impatient?

• Modesty. Someone who is modest acknowledges that he needs guidance, he understands that he needs to improve more. Yes modesty can help us to avoid being frustrated at times our hubs are not accepted. We must be willing to be corrected for it is a stepping stone for success.

Being a hubber is doing our business here. We are not here for the purpose of back linking our sites or promoting our affiliate products. Though we are allowed to put at least 2 links not affiliate links, it is not our main purpose why we signed up for hubpages. So if we have those wrong intentions and it will not work, we will surely get frustrated and discouraged.

5. We don't know how to deal with the community

Sometimes even we thought we did our best in writing, we received negative comments and feed back in our hubs. There are fellow hubbers who have different point of views and try to express them by their comments. Instead of getting hurt or frustrated, we must learn how to deal with it. Try to reason tactfully and kindly. If heated arguments intensify, we might as well cover our ears and go. Take it positively, consider it as a challenge to improve your next hub.

Remember we cannot please everybody. Knowing how to deal with fellow hubbers can help us to avoid being discouraged and frustrated in writing here.

• But what if it’s been few months and still we are not earning enough money or not even earning a penny? Are we going to stop? I learned them all when I started my internet marketing business. Actually it takes a year for me to learn how to do things before I started earning a reasonable revenue from amazon and adsense. I left Hubpages for a year, that was when I struggled to learn, learn and learn. I came back and still learning and trying to find more ways to improve.
