Of all the complications of untreated depression, suicide is the most tragic. It has often been called "a permanent solution to a temporary problem". In the midst of depression it can begin to look like the only option left.

On the downside, it has become a common trait amongst the teens. Reasons are often given as lack of understanding ability of parents. This should come as a wake up call for teen parents to develop a patient approach towards the developing child.

Sorry but I don't have any child, though I help lots of teens to cope with their depression. And I do believe in spiritual things, I started my bible knowledge 25 years ago and still going on, I am actually visiting people preaching from house to house teaching them about spiritual things, I met a lot of depressed people including depressed teens and I comfort them with spiritual things. The hope from the Bible.

Yes we can help depressed people by the comfort of what the Bible promised but they must also take practical steps such as parents help for the children. children need moral support from their families and that's why I write this hub for interested parents who want to know about it

Thanks sarmak for your visit and your effort in leaving a comment

Better step back and take a good look at your child. Depression comes from within. Is it depression or oppression that affects your child. They both have the same symptoms. Oppression is caused by the spiritual attacks of others. You have to believe in unseen things. You can destroy your child's life if you choose depression over actual oppression. Drug them up...

Thanks rahul,

Yes parents should see what is the underlying issue about the problem of the kid and not just to say they are bad. And many teens are getting so depressed that no one knows until something worse happens. There are lots of news about teens suicide these days and its because they are depressed and was not given attention.

I appreciate your reading and commenting. Thanks
